When Adware.WinFavorites.B is executed, it performs the following actions:

1. Creates the file C:Program FilesWinFavoritesWinFavorites.exe.
   
   
2. Adds the values:
   
   "DisplayName"="Win Favorites"
   "UninstallString"="C:Program FilesWinFavoritesWinFavorites.exe /uninstall"
   
   to the registry key:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstallWin Favorites
   
   
3. Adds the value:
   
   "WinFavorites" = "C:Program FilesWinFavoritesWinFavorites.exe1"
   
   to the registry key:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun
   
   so that the program runs when you start Windows.
   
   
4. Attempts to download files from www.flingstone.com.

REMOVAL

The following instructions pertain to all Symantec antivirus products that support Security Risk detection.

1. Update the definitions.
2. Close all open browser windows.
3. Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as Adware.WinFavorites.B.
4. Delete the keys and values that were added to the registry.

To obtain the most recent definitions, start your Symantec program and run LiveUpdate.

2. Scanning for and deleting the files
